All reputable installation companies will be registered with FENSA. This is a scheme that allows installation companies that meet certain criteria to self-certify that their work complies with the Building Regulations.
FENSA will also inform local authorities of all completed FENSA installations and issue certificates to householders confirming compliance.

Before you sign a contract to buy replacement glazing, be sure to ask whether the installer is able to self-certify.

2. Insurance.

This Insurance underwrites the installing contractor's guarantee, which is usually for defective workmanship and faulty materials. In the unlikely event that we cease to trade, the insurance will take the place of the guarantee for the remaining term of the cover.

3. The League of Professional Craftsmen

The League was formed to promote businesses that use a high degree of skill or expertise in their day to day work. Quite simply, it means you can go to this organisation in the event you are dissatisfied with any of our work and we fail to respond to your requirements. The League, if they agree with your complaint, will ensure we carry out your wishes.
